Working primarily in painting and drawing, the practice explores memory, identity, transformation, and the emotional residue of lived experience. Through gestural mark-making, layered surfaces, and an approach that moves between abstraction and figuration, images emerge from a process of accumulation, erasure, and rediscovery. Portraits, landscapes, and symbolic forms dissolve into fields of colour, line, and movement, creating spaces where personal memory and collective experience intersect. Rooted in expressionist traditions, the work investigates witnessing, vulnerability, and the ways identity is continuously constructed and transformed.
